Kroger - 3/30/10

OK....I'm just way too lazy to post details of these bigger transactions when there are a ton of blogs out there to tell you how to do the same thing. The Post cereal deal would have been a better deal if I had gotten all Fruity Pebbles; apparently you can earn catalinas for buying 3 or more. I had a $2.25 register coupon for the Fish Oil; since it's B1/G1 this week, it was only $2.38 after q - for 120 count!

Also had q's for Domino sugar, White Castle Hamburgers ($2.79 even after q's, but a great snack or quick meal), Post cereal, NY croutons, Campbell's soup, Stouffer's, Minute Rice, Quaker Granola bars, and I also used a $6/$60.....I did not think I spent enough, because it said "after manufacterer coupons", but my sub-total was $63, so she scanned that coupn first.

OOP: $42.74

Bi-Lo

White House Apple Juice 1 gallon $2.99
Pedigree dog food 4lb. 4oz - B1/G1 = $2.99
(I usually try to get food less that $0.50/lb - this was a little over, but still a great deal- my dog loves the canned pedigree- hope he'll love this too! There are fantastic $3 coupons out, but Bi-lo did not have the larger size included in the B1/G1).
2 Lays Chips B1/G1 = $1.99 ea
2 Better than ears B1/G1 = $1.76 ea used (2) $1/1 q's = $0.76 ea
3 Hormel Compleats $1.99 ea used (3) $0.55, doubled = $0.89 ea

OOP: $14.91
Saved: $5.30 (q's only)

Rite Aid

The second pic was my first trip...I got all excited because I paid $5.38 and was getting $5 back. But, one of the John Frieda products actually rang up at $3.49, thereby causing me NOT to have enough to get the rebate. So, I took back the conditioner (top pic) and bought the one that was $5. That order was $2.32, mainly due to the tax I paid on the make-up. Here's a breakdown:
3 John Frieda $5 ea used (3) $3 coupons
2 CG Powders B1/G1 used B1/G1 q = BOTH FREE! (paid tax on $8.29)
2 CG make ups B1/G1 used B1/G1 q = BOTH FREE! (paid tax on $9.99)
Sara Lee Buns $1.50
Stride Gum $1 (cashier had taken off my free make-up before he hit subtotal & then I was $0.03 short of $15, since the John Frieda rand up $3.49 on the first trip- so I added the gum to be able to use the $3/$15 and didn't argue about how the make-up SHOULD have counted)
used $3/$15 on 1st order (pic 2)
Total OOP: $7.70 ($2.20 was tax)
Saved: $30.28 (q's)
Will get $5 rebate back - so, if it weren't for pesky sales tax, all this would have been $0.50!!

Alice Order

When my husband brought this in for me, he said "I thought you were going to quit ripping them off?". I just couldn't help myself- this was cheaper then the dollar store, and they brought it to me! I paid $5.01 for all this. My original order was going to be $4.77, but I figured I'd at least lest them make $5 off me, so I changed part of my order form another renuzit to the napkins. With "coupons" I paid:
Jergens hand wash: $0.35
bounty paper towels $0.59 ea
dial hypo allergenic soap (3 pk) $1.04
renuzit $0.77
bounty napkins $1.36
sales tax $.31

Total OOP: $5.01
